You know, this looks like a Metropolitan. Funny though, that hood scoop seems a bit larger than I remember.....

Hmmm... I don't know exactly what that is under the hood, but it CERTAINLY isn't a 1500!

 

 

 

 

 

Mets sometimes smoke, but this is a little ridiculous

Now this explains it all. A dragster Met. You sure don't see that everyday. He was showing us a few tricks that his '54 could do at the Moline show. Now unless you have an engine like the one shown above, I wouldn't recommend doing burnouts in YOUR Metropolitan
